Weekend Holiday Vacation

Last week I and my girlfriend decided to have a vacation to Intosan, unfortunately, as I was Googling for some reviews about the resort. I found some bad comments on the internet about the resort so we decided to go to Camotes Island. Though it was a quick trip vacation, it seemed like we were there for days. So let me give you a short round up of our week start holiday vacation.

It all started around 12 Noon in Cebu, at SM where we rode a V-Hire to Danao which took for more than hour to reach there. Then we rode a trisikad to the pier. It was really a breathtaking experience though I have rode it a lot times. You know why? This trisikad (cool? ) driver drove us in to the barge but before that it seemed like we are going to fall into the sea. Good thing we didn’t. Back to the trip, because we weren’t able to catch up on the 1 P.M. trip to Consuelo, we rode the other barge which took more than 2 hours for us to get to Camotes Island. We then took another motorcycle ride for 20 minutes to Santiago Bay Garden Resort.

The resort was really satisfactory, it’s beach has quite a long shoreline and the sunset is definitely great. Even though I haven’t been to the other resorts, I definitely recommend Santiago Bay Garden. We then had fun taking pictures in Camotes and exploring the area as well. There’s this place with a cool cave and if its low tide you can also walk to the other side of the coast. One thing though, is that we weren’t able to explore the whole island. It has lots of wonderful place they say, like some caves and some other stuffs. So, I’m definitely going back to Camotes Island someday. To sum up our trip, we went back to Cebu, ate dinner at SM and walked for a few hours.

All in all the week is really amazing! And it’s our prelim exams in school so I definitely NEED to catch up! On another note, check the gallery below for the pictures of Camotes Island.
